• There were many different types of Artisans

• Each Artisan has a different specialty

• There were Carpenters, Sawyers, Plasterers, Coopers,


Shinglers, Thatcher's, Paper Makers, Tobacco Cutters,
Tillers, Mat Makers, a Worker in Cypress wood, and
lacquers

• A lot of the Artisans made objects that help the Samurai

• The Artisans made buildings, such as castles for the


Samurai and other high ranked people
