URBANIZATION
Urbanization is when people
move from smaller towns to
bigger cities.
With fast urbanization, it
makes it difficult to
provide people with basic
services such as housing,
water, sewage, and
transportation systems.
Compact development happens
when tall, multiple-unit
residential buildings are
close to jobs and shopping,
and are all connected to
public transportation.
Urbanization can cause many
problems:

 People not getting the basics provided by the

city like sewage, water, trash.
 Brown-fields
 Air pollution
