How To Calculate Your Semester Grade Point Average (GPA)

Grade 9

1. List all 8 of your classes and put the letter grade you earned in the second column.
2. Using the scale at the bottom of the page, fill in the third column.
3. Add up all the numbers in the third column and divide by 8* to calculate your
semester and cumulative GPA for high school thus far.
4. Check to see if your calculation matches what is posted in Naviance under the
section About Me > Profile > Weighted GPA (at the bottom of your screen)
