Secretary's Messages to be read during the graduation rites and to be published in the souvenir program for the Graduates ofS.Y. 2010-2011

In view of the upcoming graduation ceremonies and the volume of requests from our public and private elementary and secondary schools, we are sending a complete set of messages that may be used for publication in graduation souvenir programs.

Elementary schools will use the message in Enclosure 2A (Filipino) or 2B (English) depending on the medium the school prefers and fill in the name of the school in the space provided. On the other hand, secondary schools shall use the message in Enclosure 3A (Filipino) or 3B (English) similarly filling the space with the school's name.

Mainit na pagbati sa lahat ng ating mga maipagmamalaking magsisipagtapos at sa lahat ng mga tagapamahala ng paaralan, mga guro, at naglilingkod sa na tumulong sa mga batang ito na marating ang mahalagang pangyayaring ito sa kanilang buhay.

Sa inyong magsisipagtapos, nagsikap kayong mabuti upang marating ang puntong ito na naghihiwalay sa kamusmusan sa pagiging teenager. Lahat ng inyong natutuhan ay magagamit ninyo sa hinaharap. Nagsisimula pa lamang ang inyong mga buhay na magbubukas sa marami pang pagkakataon para kayo ay umunlad sa mundo.

Ang tema sa taong ito ay humahamon sa inyong mga bata, na gumawa ng magandang pagbabago sa inyong sariling pamayanan. Bilang "Ang Mga Magsisipagtapos:Kaagapay Tungo sa Pagbabagong Anyo ng Lipunan, Tungo sa Harnon ng SaDlbayanan," bawat isa sa inyo ay tinatawag na maging mas m ulat sa sarili ninyong pamilya at sa pamayanang inyong kinabibilangan. lyon ang mga daigdig na higit na malawak kaysa sa sarili na dapat ninyong pahalagahan sapagkat ang mga ito ang tumutulong upang kayo ay patuloy na umunlad.·

Kasabay ng malaking hakbang ninyo tungo sa panibagong yugto ng inyong buhay, isipin ninyo kung ano ang inyong magagawa, kahit sa mumunting paraan, upang matulungan ang mga nasa paligid ninyo. Bilang mga anak, tumulong kayo sa inyong mga magulang at kapatid. Bilang mga Pilipino, tumulong sa kapwa Pilipino. Matutong magm.g kapaki-pakiriabang na mamayamayan sa rnyorig mga pamayanan.

My warmest greetings to all our proud graduates and to the school administrators, teachers, and staff of ________________ who have all helped our young

ones reach this significant milestone in their lives.

Dear graduates, you have worked hard to be at this threshold separating childhood from adolescence and young adulthood. Everything you have learned will be of good use to you in the future. Your lives are just beginning to open up to many more opportunities for growth in the world.

This year's theme poses a challenge to you, young as you are, to make a positive difference in your respective communities. As ~~The Graduate: A Partner Towards Transformational Society, An Answer to Societal Change," each of you is called to be more aware of the family you are in and the community where your family and school reside. Those are the worlds larger than your individual selves which you must consider as significant because they sustain your existence.

As you make the giant step towards adolescence, think of what you can do, even in your own little way, to help those around you. As children, be of service to your parents and siblings. As Filipinos, help other Filipinos. Learn how to be productive citizens of your communities.

Congratulations on your achievement! Cherish it. There will be more.

Gugulin ang inyong lakas at sigasig tungo sa katuparan ng tema sa taong ito, "Ang Mga Magsisipagtapos:Kaagapay Tungo sa Pagbabagong Anyo ng Lipunan, Tungo sa Hamon ng Sambayanan." Alamin ang nangyayari sa ating minamahal na bansa at magpasiyang tumulong, kahit sa inyong mumunting paraan. Naniniwala ako na anumang gawang mabuti ng isang Pilipino ay magdudulot ng kabutihan sa iba pang kapwa Pilipino.

Binbati ko kayo sa inyong tagumpay at maligayang pagdating sa mas malawak na daigdig. Magkaroon ng mataas na pangarap para sa inyong sarili at para sa ating bansa, at pagsikapan ninyong matupad ito.
