The Coalition for the Preservation of choice in Georgia is comprised of families, advocates and citjzens who support
the right df Georgians with mental illness and lntellectual disabilities to receive the services and supports that best
meet their individual needs. The Ccalition expressly opposes the October 20t0 Settlement A€reement between the
State of Georgia and the U.S. Department of iustice which requires the displacement of mole than 10,000 Georgians
with mental illness and intellectual disabilities from speciaiized facilities that deliver high quality, highly specialized
