Pro/TOOLKIT Wildfire 2.0, Wildfire, 2001, 2000i2

The platform-specific compiler requirements for Pro/TOOLKIT follow. Pro/TOOLKIT is supported on all
Pro/ENGINEER platforms and is available on the standard Pro/ENGINEER CD-ROM. Pro/TOOLKIT
requires a valid platform for running Pro/ENGINEER. See
www.ptc.com/partners/hardware/current/proe.htm.

PTC provides the makefiles that are used to build applications for regression test purposes. These
makefiles can be found in the <proe loadpoint>/protoolkit/<machine>/obj directory. It is recommended
that these makefiles be used as templates to produce quality applications.

Microsoft Visual C++ Version 6.0 Service Pack 5
Microsoft Visual C++ .NET (for synchronous mode applications).
Microsoft Windows
2000/XP Note: The asynchronous Pro/TOOLKIT library: pt_asynchronous.lib cannot be used
with Microsoft Visual C++ .NET. See TAN 126315 for options on how to deploy
asynchronous applications using Pro/E Wildfire 2.0 and MSVC++.NET.
Windows Server 2003 SP1 Platform SDK supporting Windows XP x64 Pro Edition

Microsoft Windows XP Note: Pro/TOOLKIT spawn and asynchronous mode applications compiled on a
Professional x64 Microsoft Windows 32-bit machine will run with Pro/ENGINEER built for the Microsoft
Edition Windows XP 64-bit platform. DLL mode applications must be compiled on a 64-bit
machine. Applications must be compiled in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0 Release
M140 or later to support this type of communication.
