How did you attract/address your audience?

The use of grainy effect against on our titles show similarities to the film seven which was one of sources of inspiration.

The use of the blood stained newspaper generates enigma and portrays to the audience the themes of death and crime which will be seen throughout the film

The title is a twist on the tv program of the same name. This will likely attract more of the target audience to the film.

The colour tint used in the newsreport situation adds a serial effect to the sequence. This also enforces the theme of crime to the audience.

The cross cutting used throughout the piece draws inspiration dawn of the dead another film that contributed alot to the production of our piece.

The plot of the girl returning from a party late at night helps the audience better identify with the character because many of the target audience would have likely been in similar situations

The static used for transitions also draws inspiration from dawn of the dead. It also makes the cross cutting between the scenes appear more obivious to the audience

The use of heavy breathing helps the audience identify the killers point of veiw. The black and white filter adds to the surealism of the clip. The killers point of veiw makes it easier for the audience to identify the girl as victim and it makes them puts themselves in the same situation.

The fact that the kill itself is not actually seen along with the final question possed by the news reporter adds to the enigma of the piece and better attracts the audience to see the rest of the film.

The way the audience sees the clip partly through a news report gives them more of an outsiders perspective on the action.
