This is a sample proposal for Job Portal development

Admin Panel:
o Employers Management- Add/Delete/Edit Employers
o Job Seeker Management- Add/Delete/Edit the details of the Job Seekers
o Job Categories Management- Add, edit, and delete various job categories.
o Location management - Add/Edit/Remove locations for which jobs can be
posted
o Sponsored AD management- Add/Remove/Activate/Deactivate

o Featured and Paid employers- Add/Activate/Deactivate/Remove Featured
jobs and Employers to be displayed on home page with direct link to
employer's job listing.

Employer’s Panel:

o Search Resume- By date range, geographic location, industry, Job type and
keywords.

Job Seeker’s Panel:

o Manage Resume- Submit/View/Edit/Delete Resume


o Manage Account- View or Edit Login id, Password and Profile
o Search Jobs- by Location, Job type (part-time or full-time), Experience,
Salary, Company, Industry, Function or any other keyword and View all jobs
posted by a specific employer

o Manage Jobs-apply for particular Job, Bookmark Job, Save Job and Track
history. Date wise record is maintained for the jobs applied by the job seekers
containing details like company, job profile, and location of job.

o Send to friend functionality for the job offers- email any job to your friends,
they can view the details of the job.
o Multiple Resume- Job seekers may maintain multiple resume. Maximum of
5 customized resume could be created by job seeker.

o View Company Profiles- Job Seekers can view profiles of different


companies before applying for job in that company.

Employers Login Form- would require an Employer to fill-in following details-

o First Name
o Last Name
o Company/Business Name
o Member Id and Password
o Email ID
o Receive Newsletter – yes/no
o Notification of New Resume- yes/no

Job Seeker Form- Job Seeker would be required to fill-in following details-

o First Name

Functionalities-
o Job Alerts – Daily updates for new job filtered by location or type of job
through an e-mail or SMS or both.

o Guide to Resume Building - Display Sample Resume, on-demand Resume


Development and provide valuable suggestions.

o Job Statistics- Management and Employers may find out how often each job
posting has been viewed by job seekers. Graphical representation of data like
resume viewed, jobs applied for etc. can be displayed.

o Calendar functionality- allowing scheduling of events for Employers like


job posted, interview scheduled.

o Visitor Feedback Section- site visitors (Job seekers or Employers) may


leave comment and share their experiences

o Online payment functionality-for payment received from Employers for


providing them services

o Interview guide- helpful tips to face interview, general questions being


asked in interviews and few examples of some real interviews, sharing of
experiences of interviewee.
