Appraisals: Issue

The original testing environment for appraisals was done in an instance that did not
have HR RUP5 patch applied. When I reviewed and tested for RUP5 there was no
mention that the java class files would be changed for appraisals. Since the RUP5
patch did not follow the normal Dev>Test>PROD testing I was unable to spot this
issue when creating and testing in our dev>tst environments. Now that we have
cloned the DEV>TST instances form production with RUP 5 patch applied I noticed
that one part of the appraisal is not working it is basically were a user could go and
search for objectives that were pre set.

I raised an SR with Oracle as Severity 1 they downgraded the SR to Severity 2

because it was not a production issue. I have asked them to reinstate the Severity 1
status and it is in review. We have collected all of the HRMS specific information and
given it to them. This fix will have to come from Oracle and our hands are tied I
have tried to revert a few of the class files adhoc and they have not fixed the issue.
I will work on this 24x7 until I have the resolution.

Configure Leave Accrual Display

The display of leave accruals can be configured now through a system profile ‘HR:
Restrict Display of Accrual Plan by Element Set’. When the profile value is set to
No/Null, then accrual plan will be displayed based on accrual plan mapped to the
assignment element entries form. When the profile value is set to Yes, then accrual
plans will be displayed based on element set. In this case the user has to provide an
element set name to the profile ‘HR: Accrual Plan Element Set Displayed to User’.

Applicant Hire with salary defaults from offer

The manager can see the defaulted salary basis and salary provided in the offer
letter while performing applicant hire. The manager can also override the defaulted
salary basis and salary amount.

Deleting Work in Progress Notifications

The user can run the 'Complete Defunct HR Workflow Processes' concurrent request
with 'Transaction Status' - 'W', to delete the notifications with 'Work in Progress'
status.
