You can notice this triangle called an
‘Equilateral Triangle’ by seeing that the 3
sides are equal length.
You can notice this triangle called an
‘Isosceles Triangle’ by seeing that 2 of the 3
sides are equal length.
You can notice this triangle called a ‘Scalene
Triangle’ by seeing that all of the sides aren’t
equal length.
You can notice this triangle called ‘Right
Angled Triangle’ by seeing that it has 1 right
angle in the triangle.
You can notice this triangle called ‘Acute
Angle Triangle’ by seeing the all of the
angles are acute.
You can notice this triangle called ‘Obtuse
Angled Triangle’ by seeing that 1 of the 3
angles is obtuse.
Your challenge…

You will be assigned groups, then you will get a little slip of paper telling
you where your first triangle is. Your group’s triangle will be in a different
color from all the other groups. You must find the angle where the triangle
is hidden, and then grab the triangle. You then must come back to
Michael and Izzy, give them the triangle; tell them where you got the
triangle and the angle where you got it from. Name the triangle. Then
Michael and Izzy will give you your next slip of paper. You will have to find
6 triangles before anyone else. If you win you shall receive a prize. Hope
you enjoy!
Thanks for
watching. We
hope you
learned
