Summer 2008

The National Post is looking for six young journalists to work in our Toronto
newsroom next summer from April 30 to Aug. 31. We have openings for reporters
in news, sports, and business and for copy-editors on our night news desk.

You will work at the Post this summer if you:

• read the newspaper and understand what makes something a Post story;
• are a veritable fountain of story ideas;
• work hard, work independently, work late;
• write with range – hard news, features, a fact box or a timeline;
• question accepted wisdom, grapple with political correctness;
• can show you are curious about the world and your place in it.

A driver’s licence, fluency in another language and reporting experience beyond

your program requirements are substantial assets.

Interviews take place the first week of December in Toronto.
