IV. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

1. Fix and secure the antenna bracket on the back of the antenna as shown on the
installation diagram using the bolts, washer and locknut provided on the
package.
2. Fix the U-bolt bracket as shown on the installation diagram using the bolts,
washer and locknut provided on the package.

 3. Connect the SMA connector at the main receive and transmitter antenna
interface of the CPE.

4. Use the modem LED indicator and modem GUI WIMAX status to find the best
signal and link quality while adjusting the position of the antenna. You can adjust
the up and down tilt of the antenna. The following are the preferred WIMAX
status:

RSSI: -57.5 dBm to -47.5 dBm (LED Status Indicator: Four LEDs on)
DL_FEC: 64-QAM(CTC)3/4
UP_FEC: QPSK (CTC)1/2

HOW TO ACCESS THE MODEM GUI?

Default URL: 192.168.1.1
Username: user
Password: user

HOW TO VIEW WIMAX STATUS?

Status > WIMAX > WIMAX Status

V. INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
1. Install the antenna on area with clear view of the donor cell (WIMAX BTS) as
much as possible.
2. Point the antenna directly on the donor cell (WIMAX BTS)
3. Adjust the up and down tilt of the antenna if necessary.
4. Ensure the connection between the antenna cable connector and the CPE is well
fixed. (Do not use special tools, hand tight only).
5. Fixed the connection of the mounting brackets using right tools.
6. Make sure the antenna is installed in a safe and suitable location and well clear
away from high power lines.
7. Do not attempt to carry out installation when it is raining, snowing or during
stormy weather.
8. Not recommendable installing the antenna on the rooftop since the external
antenna is not lightning proof.
9. Do not attempt to install the antenna on a pole of diameter other than the
specified 30～50mm.
