AIDS is a disease found around 1980.

effective treatment for this disease.

drugs can block the virus from multiplying in the human body.

I. Disease prevention
Transmission by blood transfusion is very rare nowadays because of routine screening of
blood donors.

II. Prevention of mother-child
a pregnant woman with HIV to 10 to 30 percent risk of having an infected child.
Contamination can be done during pregnancy, childbirth or during breastfeeding. Then it is
recommended to all HIV-positive women to get pregnant.
