The Short Dictionary of the Church Slavonic Language is being published

with the practical aim in mind to aid the Students of St.TikhOn's Orthodox
Thcological Seminary in their stutly of the Church Slavonic Language.

In view of the limited alloted funds, the dictionary has been made in form
o[ a vocabulary,as is usually found in a grammar.

The Church Slavonic and Russian text of the Dictionary was compiled by
V. Ir{. Kamensly, Professor at rhe Seminary. The English translation was done
by
two of the Seminary past students: Rev. Michael Karas and candidate for Holv
Ortlers Nicholas Krras.
