5 Simple Steps to Configure Serial to USB conversion on Step 5

Step 1 -> Uninstall Step 5 and install the BF-810 (BAFO serial to USB Converter)
-> Install Step 5 version 7.1

Step 2 ->

-> Change the Parameter setting on the figure highlighted above.

The default setting for this parameter is COM1, and we have to change it to
COM3 so that it can detect the USB.

Step 3 ->

-> The page in the figure above can be found in

C:\STEP5\S5_SYS\S5@@@@AS.INI
-> Change the settings highlighted in the figure above to represent the settings for
com3.
Step 4 ->

-> On device manager, follow the settings above.

STEP 5 ->

-> GO ONLINE WITH THE PLC..
