The National Day in our country is celebrated on the 31st

August. There will be a grand National Day parade. A large
crowd of people will come to watch.

Last week, Encik Salim and his family went to the stadium
to celebrate National Day. His children felt very excited. When
the flag was raised everybody sang the national anthem.

Then Encik salim and his family watched the dance

performance. The dancer wore beautiful traditional costumes.
His family enjoyed very much.
 James and his friends were playing football on the school
field. Suddenly, they heard a loud crash.

They saw an accident on the road. A van hit a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was lying on the road bleeding.

They ran to the road. James phoned for an ambulance

which came and took the injured man to the hospital.

The police came and talk to the van driver. The driver
blamed the motorcyclist for the accident as he was speeding.

 During the holidays, Encik Ali took his family to Pulau
Langkawi. They went to the island by ferry. There were many
people in the ferry.

Some of the passengers were talking happily while some

were enjoying the view. The children stayed inside the cars.

When the ferry reached the island, the people got out from
the ferry. Some got into their car and started to drive. Encik Ali
and his family enjoyed the ferry ride.

Last week, my father brought us to the circus in town. We

watched the clown dance and act silly. He makes us laughed .

My father father enjoyed the lion show. During the

performance, the lion leap through a ring of fire.

My mother enjoyed watching the trapeze act. It looked

dangerous. We really enjoyed the circus.

One day, our class teacher told us that they have a

meeting. He asked us to do our work and not playing in the
classroom.

Ali and Abu are playing with rulers. Ali accidently hit Abu’s
eyes. Class monitor told our class teacher and she took Abu to
clinic.

The doctor treated Abu advises him. Abu feels regretted

and promise not playing in class again.

A Cleanliness Campaign was held at Sk Wawasan on 15

August. The campaign began at 7.30 a.m. and it was under
patronage of the headmaster, Encik Kamarul.

The headmaster gave a speech. The students and teacher

listened attentively to his speech. Later, plastic bags were given
to the students, to be used as rubbish bag. Students were asked
to throw their rubbish into these bags.
 A trophy would be given to the students who kept their
classroom the cleanest. The headmaster hoped that this
campaign would help to keep the school clean.
