DELETE A HISTORICAL FIGURE PROJECT

In this project, you will work with one partner to create either a video recording or
multimedia presentation highlighting the role of one individual in history and politics.
You and your partner will choose one person from history and explain how this world
would be different if they did not exist. You may choose any real-life figure such as
political leaders, inventors, social figures, military leaders, etc. You should avoid
religious figures. You must get authorization before your research to avoid any
setbacks.

After choosing your person, explain how history might have turned out differently if he
or she did not exist.

• An explanation of specifically what the person did and why they are important
historically.

• An exploration of the immediate effects of his/her absence.

• An analysis of the long term effects including across eras and regions.

• Explain in detail whether this deletion would be a positive or negative for world
history.

• Explain which if any people within the same time period would have contributed
in a similar way to supplement their absence.
