I. Presentation (Speaking and Listening):

I will ask five general, well known questions and


elicit student responses. This should be simple for
most students. Questions will not be presented on
the board.

B. New Questions Time: 7 minutes Notes:

I will present five difficult or new questions from


the grade list and their responses. Students will
be required to speak the questions and repeat
the answers. Questions will be presented on the
board.

C. Flash Cards Time: 5 minutes Notes:

Any i+1 questions will be passed out as flash


cards amongst the students. I will prompt
students to stand, say what is on their card, and
find the appropriate response.

II. Practice (Writing and Reading)

Students will be required to pull random cards out of a bag, read them

Activity 2: The five i+1 questions will be recapped and students will be required to
write the questions and correct responses. Comprehension, spelling, and
Writing content should be verified at this point.

III. Production (Groups and Games)

Activity 4: The class will be split into two teams. One student from each team will come
up to the board and be asked a question. The student with the fastest
Game answer will be allowed 10 seconds to remove a block from a Jenga tower.
