Activities to be done by the Task Force:

1. Fever Surveillance. (Concentrating Immigrant Population)

2. Dry Container management.
3. Water Borne disease preventive measures - Effective
chlorination.
4. Vector Study.
5. Special attention to Tyre Resoling centre, Rubber Taping shells
etc..

 6. Waste accumulation areas should be informed to the Local body
for the proper disposal.
7. Awareness about Weil’s Disease and prophylaxis treatment to
high risk groups.

Logistics.

Training to NREG workers, Agriculture workers etc. On Lepto already given in

all BPHC’s and urban areas.

IEC materials prepared and distributed.

 Folder on Monsoon Diseases.

 Poster on Leptospirosis.
 Poster on Source Reductions.
 Display Board on Leptospirosis.

Media Activities

 Time to time Press release from DMO (H) and local specific issues
from BPHC’s and Mini PHC’s.
 IEC through local channels.

Skill Development trainings.

 Lab Technicians already trained on NVBDCP.

 Field staff trained on NVBDCP and PH Act implementation.

Reporting System

 Strengthening of Daily Reporting System.

 Daily Reporting System (Both Govt. & Pvt. Institutions)
strengthened.

 Dengue & Lepto Test facility available.

Stock Position (NVBDCP)

Chloroquine, Premaquine, Microslides, Insecticides (Pyrithrum, Malathion etc.),

Fogging Machine – 16 Nos (10 working condition), Sprayers 240 (180 working
condition) are available.

ORS, Bleaching Powder etc. are available.
