I am a degreed accountant with many years of experience in the wholesale, servic
e, and not-for-profit sectors, including several years with a small CPA firm.
I have been responsible for the total accounting function; accounts receivable,
accounts payable, adjusting journal entry, monthly and year-end close, preparati
on of financial statements, and worked closely with upper management and boards
of directors.
I have experience with cash management, budgeting, payroll, supervision of a sma
ll accounting staff, and preparation of annual tax returns, both corporate and n
ot-for-profit.
I have worked with multiple accounting software systems; Platinum, MAS 90, Peach
tree, MIP Fund Accounting, and several industry-specific, customized accounting
systems.
I am proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
