Steps:

1. Click Start.
2. Select All Programs.
3. Select Microsoft Office

Activity 2 Create New Database

1. Click New .
2. Click Blank database…
3. Change the File name.

Outcome 2 Database for KMLDP PESERTA SAMARAHAN is created.


Activity 3 Get external data (excel file) from other sources.

Steps:

1. Click File.
2. Select Get External Data.
3. Click Import

Steps File / Get External Data / Import

Outcome 3 Import dialog box appears.

Activity 4 Change the Files of type: to Microsoft Excel (*.xls)


Activity 5 Select excel file from folder.

Steps:

1. Find Folder (Source).


2. Select Excel File
3. Click Import

Steps Folder Name (Source) / Nama fail.xls / Import

Outcome 5 Import Spreadsheet Wizard dialog box appears.

1. Select radiobutton
 Show worksheets : Sheet 1
2. Click Next >

Activity 6 Select spreadsheet.

Steps:

1. Tick
 First Row Contains Column Headings
2. Click Next >

1. Select radiobutton
 In a New Table

Activity 8 Select data storage

Steps:

1. Retain default information stated in Field Name:

2. Click Next >

Activity 9 Insert Field Name

Steps Field Name : KOD / Next >

Outcome 9 Import Spreadsheet Wizard dialog box still appears.

Steps:

1. Select radiobutton
 No primary key.
2. Click Next >

Activity 10 Select a primary key

Steps  No Primary Key / Next >


Outcome 10 Import Spreadsheet Wizard dialog box still appears.

Steps:

1. Import to Table:
Type a Table Name
Eg : PESERTA
2. Click Finish

Activity 11 Type in a table name

Steps Table Name : Eg [PESERTA] / Finish

Outcome 11 Object Tables : PESERTA appears.

Table PESERTA is created.
