ABSTRACT

FAKHRUR ROZI M, Risk Factor Usage of Personal Protective Equipment

(PPE), Working Periode, Long Explanation, and Status of Gizi with Acute
Poisoned of usage of Pesticide at Farmers in Desa Ponoragon, Loakulu.
(Guided By Mr. Muhammad Sultan, M.Kes dan Mrs. Dina Lusiana S, SKM).
Acute poisoned of usage of pesticide coused from usage pesticide
which enter in body. Usage of imprecise pesticide will cause the happening of
acute poisoned at farmers. Pursuant to observation early in Desa Ponoragon,
got by farmers only some of using PPE,with condition of which improper and
mean do not use PPE, farmers have mean year of service > 5 year long
explanation among farmer with pesticide > 3 hour/day, and not regular
consumption pattern hence will result acute poisoned effect of usage of
pesticide at farmers in Desa Ponoragon.
Target of this research is to know relation usage of PPE, Working
Periode, Long Explanation, Status Of Gizi with acute poisoned of usage of
pesticide at farmers in Desa Ponoragan. This research type is analytic survey
with approach of sectional cross. Intake of data by using kuesioner,
measurement by means of aerometer of body (weighing-machine step on)
and high grader of body with amount of sampel 69 people.
Result of research indicate that there is usage of PPE with acute
poisoned of usage of pesticide (p= 0,030), have relation with working periode
with acute poisoned wih pesticide (p=0,025), there no relation long
explanation with acute poisoned usage of pesticide (p= 0,410), have relation
status gizi with acute poisoned of usage of pesticide (p=0,000).
Suggested to do prevention of acute poisoned with minimize time
contact among farmers with pesticide ( ≤ 3 hours/day), paying attention
pattern consume everyday from farmers, and usage PPE, when working and
also expected to government to do socialization to farmers concerning
pesticide danger to health of farmers.
