The lady is wearing white clothes which could symbolise pureness and beautifulness
and the name of the perfume is also called beauty which comes back to
beautifulness. It·s called beauty because it could mean you·re beautiful if you apply
the perfume onto yourself.

The shape of the perfume bottle is sleek small and round and looks very expensive.
The video advert for the perfume is simple and plain yet is full of information. The
main colour in the video is white which could mean if the perfume is used you will be
happy. The photo is plain and that makes us only concentrate on the model and how
pretty she is.

The connotation of the picture and the words are supposed to be linked as the
writing is thin and the lady is also thin which could also mean the perfume is used on
thin skinny types of ladies or targeted at ski nny ladies.

The Maslow audience type is aspirer because she looks like she wants to smell
better than other people as this will also bring attention to her from everyone.

. The model is standing right in the middle of the advert in a position where she loo ks
like she·s going to be taken any minute by someone and her facial expression is very
serious like she·s trying to think of something or she·s concentrating , her eyes are
focused and looking straight at the person who·s looking at the advert.

The product is mainly aimed at females at the age of 20 -45 because it·s expensive so
therefore they will only buy it if they have a really good job such as a retailer and a
good income, or money to spend.

The social class is aimed mostly at medium class to high class. The lifestyles they
have is luxury were they would shop in shops such as Selfridge s and river island,
also go to restaurants like Nando ·s and enjoy watching classic films or romantic
films e.g. fast and furious a mixture of romance and classi c.

The models body position makes her look very proud and also very confident about
herself because of the perfume, she·s also independent because there is no man
about in the picture or the advert which could be a good thing and maybe that will
make women buy that.

The advertising technique used in this advert is ¶snob appeal· they have suggested
that it·s an elite group with luxurious and glamorous for a lifestyle. They have also
used testimonial, the model used to advertise this perfume is a very famous model.

Goffmans theory fits in to this campaign because the model looks like a Barbie and
when you think of Barbie·s you think of makeup combs and PERFUME which brings
us back to goffmans theory.
