1. Introduction The Fighter class branch out to two separate classes, Warrior and Knight- one of which can be chosen at level 15-20 in Turnvill. The Warrior is an assault class with great strength and attacking skills. The Knight, on the other hand, is a defensive class with spells that help him achieve maximum survivability. Each subclass develops further into two special classes, Arbana and Skypia- available to be chosen at level 40-50 and level 75-85, respectively. Spell Name [Spell Type] -Tier: The tier at which you acquire the spell. -Maximum Level: The maximum level to which the spell can be raised. -Spell Description: What the spell does and how it works in combat. -Bottom Line: Whether or not I recommend leveling and using the spell. Now, without further ado the skills! 2. Tier 1: The Path of Fighter Tier 1: Fighter Skills Dash Attack [Command] Tier: 1 Maximum Level up: 30 Spell Description: Dash + Attack Button Spell description: Dash Attack cause the character to dash forward and jab the weapon. It deals a little more damage than a regular attack and slightly knocks back the enemy. Dash Attack is the fighters first spell, and for that reason one may consider leveling up. However, it becomes obsolete later in the game when the fighter learns many more effective attacks. Bottom Line: Do not level Dash Attack. Save your points for the better spells! Stomp [Command] Tier: 1 Maximum Level up: 30 Spell Description: Jump + Down Spell description: It deals slightly more damage than a regular attack and is very useful for hitting multiple enemies when surrounded. However, it becomes obsolete later in the game when the fighter learns many more effective attacks. Bottom Line: Do not level Stomp. Bash [Active] Tier: 1 Maximum Level up: 10 Spell Description: The character attacks enemies in front with a crescent-shaped blast. While this spell is somewhat better than a normal attack in terms of both range and damage, it isnt worth the spell point investment. Bottom Line: Do not level Bash. Awakening [Active] Tier: 1

Maximum Level up: 10 Spell Description: Awakening increase the chance of scoring critical hits on your enemies for several seconds. Awakening can be seen as an unimportant spell at an early stage, but it may be useful to level up for later. Bottom Line: Consider leveling up Awakening, especially at level 100+. 3. Tiers 2, 3, 4: The Path of Warrior Tier 2: Warrior Skills Weapon Mastery [Passive] Tier: 2 Maximum Level: 10 Spell Description: Weapon Mastery increase the damage by 1% per level. While this skill may seem negligible in the early stage, it really makes a difference in the attacking power as the game progress. Bottom Line: Level Weapon Mastery to 10. Enrage [Active] Tier: 2 Maximum Level: 10 Spell Description: Enrage sharply increase the attacking power for a limited time. Once it is upgraded, it can be very useful for slaying bosses and other powerful foes. It is similar to Berserk, a more powerful spell but it is more risky than Enrage and it appears that buffs do not stack. Bottom Line: Level Enrage to 10 OR save for Berserk. Summon Bombs [Active] Tier: 2 Maximum Level: 15 Spell Description: Summon Bombs sets a powerful time bomb on the ground that explodes after a few seconds. It also confuses the surviving enemies. Summon Bombs can be very useful later in the game or in alternative game modes where enemies are tightly packed. Bottom Line: Consider leveling Summon Bombs, especially at level 100+. Firewolf [Active] Tier: 2 Maximum Level: 15 Spell Description: Firewolf is one of the Warriors first worthy attacking skills. It shoots a tongue of flame a good distance across the map, hitting each enemy multiple times in the process. This attack is relatively weak at low levels but grow into more powerful as it is upgraded. Firewolf is a great way to clear platforms of weak mobs or weaken powerful monsters. It can also burn enemies, which inflicts extra damage over time. Bottom Line: Level Firewolf to 15. Tier 3: Swordman Skills Critical Chance [Passive] Tier: 3 Maximum Level: 10 Spell Description: Critical Chance increase the casters chance to make critical hits (0.50% per level). Critical hits do much more damage than normal hits.

Bottom Line: Level Critical Chance to 10. Berserk [Active] Tier: 3 Maximum Level: 15 Spell Description: Berserk is a timed buff that allows for a greater damage boost than Enrage. While this skill can massively increase damage output, be sure to keep an eye on your HP while it is in effect as it will lower the HP gauge. When used in tandem with other skills, Berserk can allow you to mow down enemies with ease. Bottom Line: Level Berserk to 15 OR Enrage to 10. Elemental Wall [Active] Tier: 3 Maximum Level: 30 Spell Description: Elemental Wall creates a giant ice stalagmite. Enemies that walk into it takes the damage. This makes it useful for quarantining enemies, keeping them off your back as you cast buffs or other offensive skills. Because it is one of the Warriors few defensive skills, upgrading it may prove useful. Bottom Line: Level Elemental Wall to 1-30. Ragnarok [Active] Tier: 3 Maximum Level: 30 Spell Description: Ragnarok summon blades that come up from the ground in a line to stab multiple enemies in front of you. It is a very powerful attack spell, and it is useful for hitting several enemies at once. Ragnaroks attack range is comparable to Firewolf. Bottom Line: Level Ragnarok to 30. Tier 4: Swordmaster Skills Battle Mastery [Passive] Tier: 4 Maximum Level: 20 Spell Description: This spell increase the damage dealt on critical hits by a percentage of your regular damage. Even if you have a subpar critical rate, maximizing this spell can still give the overall damage output a huge boost. Bottom Line: Level Battle Mastery to 20. Spiked Armor [Active] Tier: 4 Maximum Level: 30 Spell Description: Spiked Armor reflects damage back onto enemies while gaining attack power. While costly in terms of MP, this skill is a good way to indirectly increase your overall attack power while protecting yourself from damage. Bottom Line: Level Spiked Armor to 30. Eclipse [Active] Tier: 4 Maximum Level: 40 Spell Description: Eclipse is much more powerful than Stomp. Eclipse is useful when you are surrounded by enemies. It deals massive amounts of damage and confuses enemies. Bottom Line: Level Eclipse to 40.

Illusory Sword [Active] Tier: 4 Maximum Level: 40 Spell Description: Illusory Sword rains blades from the sky, hitting all enemies on the screen. It deals high damage and is the Warriors most powerful attack.. Bottom Line: Level Illusory Sword to 40. 4. Tiers 2, 3, 4: The Path of Knight Tier 2: Knight Skills Defense Mastery [Passive] Tier: 2 Maximum Level: 10 Spell Description: This spell is a safe way to permanently increase the size of the evasion rate. Defense mastery boosts evasion 0.50% per level. The difference might seem minimal early on, but the extra evade is a great indirect boost to your defensive capabilities. Bottom Line: Level Defense Mastery to 10. Magic Defense [Active] Tier: 2 Maximum Level: 10 Spell Description: Magic Defense is the opposite of the Warriors Berserk skill. This spell temporarily boost defense power at the cost of attack power. As a naturally defensive class, you should be looking to increasing your attacking power with your active skills, not your defense. You will have plenty of HP and defense to tank hits with your stats, equipment, and passive skills. Your skill points are better spent elsewhere. Bottom Line: Do not level Magic Defense. Thunderbolt [Active] Tier: 2 Maximum Level: 15 Spell Description: This skill summons a thunderbolt that strikes at close range. Thunderbolt deals high damage and stuns the enemy. It has a short cool time and is a worthy spell for many fights. Bottom Line: Level Thunderbolt to 15. Electric Trap [Active] Tier: 2 Maximum Level: 15 Spell Description: This nifty spell creates a patch of electrified ground directly underneath the user. Enemies that touch the ground get damaged. Electric Trap is great for keeping enemies away while using powerful offensive spells. Bottom Line: Level Electric Trap to 15. Tier 3: Paladin Skills Regeneration [Passive] Tier: 3 Maximum Level: 5

Spell Description: Regeneration is another defensive passive skill that is used to recover both HP and MP. For a Paladin, the HP regeneration rate should already be pretty highcasting the spell will most likely increase both HP and MP to max. Bottom Line: Level Regeneration to 5. Defensive Stance [Active] Tier: 3 Maximum Level: 20 Spell Description: This spell temporarily increase the defense power. Unlike Magic Defense this boost comes at no cost to attack power. This spell may be useful if you are invested heavily in strength, but chances are you wont need to use it often. I suggest investing at least some points in it, because it can make boss battles easier. Bottom Line: Level Defensive Stance to 10-20. Elemental Wall [Active] Tier: 3 Maximum Level: 30 Spell Description: Elemental Wall creates a giant ice stalagmite. Enemies that walk into the ice take damage. This makes it useful for quarantining enemies, keeping them off your back as you cast buffs or powerful offensive skills. However, the Paladin has a better defensive skill: Electric Trap. Save the points here for another skill. Bottom Line: Do not level Elemental Wall. Magic Shield Attack [Active] Tier: 3 Maximum Level: 30 Spell Description: Magic Shield Attack is a more powerful version of Bash. A giant shield pushes enemies back. This spell stuns the enemies but doesnt do a very good job of knocking them back. Bottom Line: Level Magic Shield Attack to 30. Tier 4: Sunder Lord Skills HP Mastery [Passive] Tier: 4 Maximum Level: 20 Spell Description: HP Mastery directly boost defensive ability. Upgrading this will help to make the Sunder Lord the most powerful defensive character in ILLUSIA. Bottom Line: Level HP Mastery to 20. Damage Shield [Active] Tier: 4 Maximum Level: 30 Spell Description: This spell is similar to the Warriors Spiked Armor. Damage Shield reflects damage back onto enemies. It is a worthy buff in many fights, especially when combined with other skills. Bottom Line: Level Damage Shield to 30. Divine Hammer [Active] Tier: 4 Maximum Level: 40 Spell Description: Divine Hammer is the Sunder Lords counterpart to Swordmasters Eclipse. This spell deals heavy damage to the surrounding enemies.

Bottom Line: Level Divine Hammer to 40. Lightning Storm [Active] Tier: 4 Maximum Level: 40 Spell Description: Lightning storm is Sunder Lords the most powerful attacking spell. Similar to the Warriors Illusory Sword, this spell strikes enemies all over screen for good amount of damage. Bottom Line: Level Lightning Storm to 40. V. FAQ I cant be bothered to read all that text. Whatever shall I do? Well impatient reader, here is a quick rundown of the key Warrior skills: Weapon Mastery (10), Enrage (10) OR Berserk (15), Firewolf (15), Critical Chance (10), Elemental Wall (130), Ragnarok (30), Battle Mastery (20), Spike Armor (30), Eclipse (40), Illusory Sword (40). And the key Knight skills: Defense Mastery (10), Thunderbolt (15), Electric Trap (15), Regeneration (5), Defensive Stance (10-20), Magic Shield Attack (30), HP Mastery (20), Damage Shield (30), Divine Hammer (40), Lightning Storm (40). Why did you even make a skill guide? Does it really matter where I put my skill points? Of course it does! Skills are one of the most unique aspects of ILLUSIA. I made a skill guide because differentiating between worthy and less-than-worthy skills can be a challenge for new players and veterans alike. Playing through the games various areas and quests can be somewhat difficult too but shouldnt be too hard to experiment with on your own. Skill point investments require IAPs to reset. Thus, they are more costly to experiment with. How do I use a skill? Skills fall into three categories: Active, Passive, and Command. These are denoted by the colored icons to the right of the skill icons in your skills menu. Active skills (red icons) are activated by tapping their icons in the quick slots. They comprise the fighter classs most powerful attacks and defensive abilities. Passive skills (blue icons), in contrast, do not require MP. In fact, you do not need to trigger them at all; they automatically integrate with and improve your characters existing abilities. Command skills (green icons) are unique to ILLUSIA. Similar to active skills, you can choose to use them whenever you like. Unlike active skills, however, they are executed by tapping screen buttons in an order designated in the spell description. How can I increase my spell damage? I keep getting pwned by the ice boss. Leveling up your spells will increase their damage. Because of this, you should eventually level up your main attacking skills as high as they will go. In addition, your heros stats directly affect your spell damage. Many spells deal damage as a percentage over your normal hits. So, if you pump up strength to increase your regular attacks, you will see an improvement in your spell damage, too. Stats? What are those? There are three stats in ILLUSIA: Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence. Each time you level up, you can allocate two stat points. Investing one point into strength yields 2 attack points, 12 HP, and 3 regenerate HP. On the other hand, each point of dexterity yields 5 defense

points, 0.08% evade, and 0.04% critical. Finally, Intelligence boosts MP and MP regeneration rate. Where should I put my stat points? Let me guessdo I put them all into Intelligence? Sorry, no. The primary characteristics for a fighter are Strength and Dexterity. Some people will tell you to put all of your stat points into Strength. While this isnt necessarily bad advice, you may find that your fighter lacks survivability, particularly at low levels. ILLUSIAs automatic stat point distribution feature strikes a balance between Strength and Dexterity (and a little intelligence). Many players choose to cap their Dexterity between 50 and 200. A heavy investment in Strength, combined with a moderate investment in Dexterity, will create a versatile, effective fighter. Do I have to use skill points right away? Will I lose them if I dont? Nope. You can always save them to improve better spells later, even those in other tiers. In fact, saving spell points early in the game is highly recommended. Take caution when leveling up spells quickly, however. See below. I leveled my attack to the highest level just like you said, and now I cant even use it!? HELP? If you level up a spell too quickly, you may not have enough maximum MP to cast it. To remedy this, you could simply add stat points into Intelligence, but doing so is typically not recommended. Instead, try to find the highest-level ring you can equip. (Rings increase your maximum MP. Other equipment can also increase your maximum MP.) Or, see below. Oops! I accidentally leveled a spell I didnt want to raise. What can I do to fix it? Visit the Phone Booth in any town. Select Purchase Item to open up the Network Shop. Select Potion of Unlearning (Skills), then confirm the purchase. ($0.99 will be deducted from your iTunes balance.) Open your inventory and use the item. Voila! All of your spells will be reset and your points will be returned to you. I dont have enough quick slots for all of my spells! How can I get more? Unfortunately, you cannot. In the first FAQ question I listed eight active Warrior skills and seven active Knight skills. Note that you will be limited to quick slotting six at a time because two quick slots will be occupied by HP and MP potions. Which spells to leave off quick slots depends depend on the situation. In boss fights, for instance, Warriors can clear Elemental Wall from its quick slot to make room for an attack spell, while Knights can leave Electric Trap at home. What the heck is a Sunder Lord? Shouldnt the proper title be Thunder Lord? Maybe. The class uses lightning-based skills, so the title of Thunder Lord makes sense. Ingame NPCs also reference a Thunder Lord class. The title of Sunder Lord, however, is arguably valid as well. According to the Merriam-Webster online dictionary, to sunder means to break apart or in two: separate by or as if by violence or by intervening time or space. Which title is correct? You can draw your own conclusions. Is the Warrior better than the Knight? I told you not to ask! Okay, fine, so I wrote this question myself. Both classes have their advantages and disadvantages (see above). If you really cant decide which character to pick, try them both out, re-read this guide, or borrow a friends character for a test run. HOW I USE HADOKEN?!?1? I am sorry; this I cannot answer. Perhaps youre thinking of a different game?
