FPGA IMPLEMENTATION OF QRS COMPLEX DETECTION IN ECG SIGNAL FOR HRV ANALYSIS Publications: [1]Rakesh Chand, Kailash Chand Ray,Pawan Tripathi and Abhishek Mathur, FPGA Implementation of Fast FIR Low Pass Filter for EMG Removal from ECG Signal", Int. Abstract- This paper presents the hardware implementation of fast FIR low pass filter for Electromyogram (EMG) removal from Electrocardiogram (ECG) signal. We designed the architecture having less critical delay then convention FIR design and fast enough to remove EMG from ECG signal. We Proposed branched tree architecture for adder connection to reduce the critical delay. The Proposed architecture has been implemented on FPGA using Verilog Hardware Description Language (HDL). Since coefficient quantization technique is used, so this implementation consumes lesser area that reduces the Hardware consumption. We have used target device Virtex-5 (xc5vlx110t-2-ff1136), which is a preferred device in the field for modern Digital Signal Processing (DSP) applications.

Conf. on power, control and embedded system(IEEE-ICPCES), MNNIT, Allahabad, India, Nov 29 - Dec 1, 2010. Abstract This paper presents mathematical representation of the Running Discrete Fourier Transform (RDFT) and proposes an architecture for selective harmonics device using RDFT. We used one multiplier and two adders arithmetic modules. The proposed architecture has been implemented on FPGA using Verilog HDL. Since this implementation consumes lesser area, its Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) representation has efficient hardware complexity in the order of O(N). For real-time harmonics detection and analysis we have used target device Virtex-5 (xc5vlx110t-2-ff1136), which is a preferred device in field for modern DSP applications.
