Strange is our situation here upon earth. There s a lot of war and crimes in different countries and of course the most threatening hazard of society today, the Global Warming and the Environmental degradation which makes in danger not only human life but also other forms of life around us on land, in the sea, and in the air. As a Citizen of STI, I can proudly say that I can contribute in saving our mother earth in my own little ways. I believe that changes start in us and I think the main thing that I would change in myself is to have a self discipline. Having a self discipline is really important in protecting our lives as well as our environment. Even in our own homes, schools, and churches, we can contribute to keeping the environment fresh and clean by proper disposal of our garbage, limiting the use of aerosol products which destroy the atmospheres protective Ozone Layer, quitting smoking which will also be good for our health, and to follow the rules and regulations of our government in order to avoid accidents and doing crimes. Putting ourselves to God has also a great help in saving our mother earth because if we have faith to God and if we follow his rules we can act as a well-disciplined person, there will be no crimes and war will happen, the people can handle their problems so that they will not commit suicide and of course by the help of him we can determine what s right from wrong. God created the earth for us to live and benefits from it and I believe that it is our responsibility to take care of it. Let us stop the continued denudation of our forest, the strangulation of our lakes and rivers, the destruction of our marine life through dynamite fishing and the pollution of our water by industrial fumes and wastes. Be responsible in everything that we do because God sees the things that we do and I believe that he will make a way for us to learn and realized our mistakes. By the help of God I can make these changes in myself and I will try my best to be his prophet in spreading these changes and his taught.
