Although a Floridian, my undergraduate work was completed at North Carolina State University (NCSU) in Raleigh, North Carolina. A transfer to the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia (Go Spiders) enabled me to fulfill my requirements for a teaching certificate. My father is a retired engineer and my mother held a Florida teaching certificate until retirement. My eight-year old son and I enjoy camping, hiking, and riding motorcycles.
