    Dear: Mahoning Hydropower, LLC (MH) is providing you with the enclosed CD ROM containing its Notice of Intent (NOI), Pre-Application Document (PAD) for licensing of the Lake Milton Hydroelectric Project (FERC No. 13953). This package has been distributed to all known interested parties and stakeholders to announce that MH wishes to resume consultation originally begun by Hydro Energy Techonologies, LLC in order to continue development of the proposed hydro project at the Lake Milton dam. All materials related to this NOI and PAD are available for inspection at 700 E. 73 rd St, Cleveland, Ohio 44103 during regular office business hours. Appointments are appreciated. As stated in the attached NOI, MH wishes to pursue a license for the above referenced project and requests use of the Traditional Licensing Process (TLP) a three stage consultation process shown in the figure below. Contingent upon FERC granting use of the TLP, MH further requests stage 1 consultation (including joint meeting with public) be waived as this work has been completed under previous docket # P-13402. Additional opportunities for comments and further study requests will be provided during stage 2. Comments on MHs proposal to waive stage 1 consultation should be submitted to the Commission electronically or by sending an original and eight copies within 30 days to: Office of the Secretary Federal Energy Regulatory Commission 888 First Street, NE

    Current Stage

    MH proposes to waive previously completed Stage 1

    If stage 1 consultation is not waived we will be scheduling a joint meeting with the public to further facilitate the consultation process. The date, time, location and agenda of this meeting if required will be announced in approximately 30 days. We look forward to resuming consultation and answering any questions you might have.
