JACOB Jacob is known in the bible as the deceiver.

He deceived his twin brother, Esau and his father, Isaac. He wanted to get the birthright or the blessing that will be given to Esau. After haunting, Esau went home exhausted and hungry. Jacob saw him and made a deal that he will give Esau some food if Esau would give Jacob his birthright, and Esau agreed. When Rebekah, Jacob and Esaus mother, knew that Isaac was looking for Esau to give his blessing, she immediately covered Jacob with goat skin to make him look like hes Esau because Esau was very hairy and because their father was blind. When Jacob fulfilled the task given by his father, he was given the blessing. Esau soon knew about this and he wanted to kill Jacob for deceiving him. Rebekah sent Jacob to her family but what happened is that Jacob and Esau had a war against each other. Deceiving a person always has a price. In this case, Jacob payed the price for deceiving his father and his own brother. There are always consequences in everything we do wrong. Rebekah, who helped Jacob deceive his father, suffered by not seeing her family happy together but instead she saw her two sons trying to kill each other because of anger.
