Problem Statement.

Topic : Impact of infrastructure Projects to the economic growth Infrastructure projects in this case specified on projects related to human settlements such as road, bridge, water supply and sanitation This topic want to check whether infrastructure Projects held under Ministry of Public Works, Directorate General of Human Settlements has significant impact to the economic growth. This topic is related to my institutional background. I am working for Ministry Public Works, Directorate General of Human Settlements. This institution is responsible to infrastructure development in Indonesia. Many projects of infrastructure have done by this institution but there is not many study that analyze the effect of this infrastructure development to the economic growth in Indonesia, especially projects related to human settlements in rural area. Therefore I want to study the impact of rural infrastructure projects on economic growth. Economic growth in this thesis is calculate by the change of GDP. Based on theory that I have read, Infrastructure is a factor that affects the GDP.
