This poem summons a brave and wise dragon to guard an unnamed object, charging the dragon to permit no harm to come to the object and to fill with fright any creature that would bring harm, whether of flesh or spirit. The dragon is summoned from its hidden lair to watch over the object and let all evils take flight in its presence.
