OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

 To compare the satisfaction level of KAMCO and VST Tillers and its after sale services.  To find out KAMCO s strengths and weaknesses compared to VST.  To find out the most effective mode of advertisement for farm equipments

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Data Collection Methods
 Primary Data : Questionnaire was used to collect data.  Secondary data: Text Books, Journals and Websites.

Sampling Unit : Tiller customers of KAMCO and VST Sample size: 100, 50 Customers from both the companies. Sampling area: Northern Districts of Kerala( Kozhikode,Kannur and Wayand) Statistical tools used: Percentage analysis , T test ,with the help of SPSS .

FINDINGS
VST s Market Share has been on the rise for the last few years The best way to advertise the product is through Krishi Bhavans . And Print and visual media has got little impact. VST performs better in the dry soil. KAMCO Tillers are more fuel efficient than the VST Tillers. Almost all those who buy the tillers for agricultural purpose have received financial assistance from the government. VST is good in after sale service than KAMCO. VST spare parts are easily available.

SUGGESTIONS
 Deliver the product on time to the customers .  More service centers should be opened , so that the customers will have more accessibility to the after sales services  Spare parts should be made available.  Increase the engine power ,so that its efficiency in dry soil goes up.
