    This in not a complete script- more of a outline, but I wanted to use Pat's article about Scrolls and so this is my attempt: I think this would work well after Kate's lesson on technology and could give students more ideas for their personal statement: FFW: Discuss a moment when you have had to adapt or when something you were accustomed to changed. Describe the situation and how you reacted. FFW: Think of one piece of technology that has dramatically changed since you began using it. Do you like/ appreciate the change? Why? Why not? Read "From Scroll to Screen" FFW: How does this relate to Malfouri's theory in The Extended Mind? Discuss/ Share FFW: attempt to re-create the history of the piece of technology you chose that has changed. Can you see, as Grossman does, how technological advancement has changed the essence the device you are thinking of? Is that change for the better? Could we relate this to the application process?? -Holly
