Basketball SA Members are hereby notified that the Annual General Meeting of Basketball SA will be held in the Apollo Restaurant at The Dome on Sunday 23rd October, 2011 at 11.00am. In accordance with the Basketball SA Constitution, only Council Members are eligible to attend the AGM. BUSINESS A. B. C. D. E. F. To receive Chairman and CEO reports. Appointment of Independent Commissioners The following Independent Commissioners will retire at the 2011 Annual General Meeting: Peter Sexton Julie Allerton Nominations are now open for the two positions being declared vacant at the 2011 AGM. All nominations must be completed on the correct form and sent to the Basketball SA CEO via email (mhubbard@basketballsa.com.au) or post (PO Box 29, Findon SA 5023) by no later than Wednesday 5th October 2011. The two retiring Commissioners may re-nominate. Confirmation of Nominated Commissioners The President/Chairman for Basketball Adelaide, SA Country and SA Church is requested to complete the Nominated Commissioner Form outlining who will be their nominated Commissioner from the 2011 AGM. Agenda Items and Notice of Motions Please forward any proposed agenda items and/or notices of motion to the CEO by no later than 5:00pm on Friday 7th October 2011. A full agenda shall be circulated to the Council members after the Independent Commissioner nominations and Notice of Motion period closes, including details of nominees for the Independent Commission positions and voting information (if required). _________________________________________________________________________________
