The purpose of the new Global Guardian power board is to detect earth
leakage and earth continuity faults long before they develop into major
faults.
Simply plug all your electrical appliances into the Global Guardian power
board and not only do you have a convenient power board with circuit
breakers but all equipment is continuously tested for dangerous prob-
lems. If a problem should occur an alarm will sound to indicate electrical
failure.

Increased Workplace Safety

The Global Guardian power board detects earth leakage at
1mA & 5mA depending on the equipment being used, this is
well below the level at which an RCD will cut off power.
The Global Guardian power board increases work place
electrical safety because all equipment is tested under site
operating conditions making testing more relevant to the
work environment.
Personal safety is further increased due to the reduced time
between equipment testing. The Global Guardian power
board tests equipment every few seconds rather than every
month or more as occurs under the present testing and tag-
ging regime.
The RCDs incorporated into Global Guardian power board
are also continuously tested for earth leakage as is required
under present electrical safety regulations.
