distributed free to developers for developing android applications . JDK 1.5 or Higher Java Development Kit is required because Android uses many java classes.
Eclipse IDE Well known IDE for java development , also recommended for Android Programming. ADT Plugin This is a plugin for Eclipse IDE to make it usable for android Application Development.
