Write a review of the book you have read Task (Total: 200 400 words)

Purpose /type of writing

To inform the readers about the main details of the book To explain your opinion of the book in a persuasive way To entertain the readers of the review

Text type (form)

Book review NIST community Title, author and publisher of book Interesting information about the author including any other books they have written Genre, theme and style of book e.g. a very funny realistic fiction book, a tragic adventure story, a heartwarming historical fiction, a gripping horror story What the story is about - key characters and incidents Opinion of the book Recommendations Introductory paragraph giving brief overview of novel and author Summary of storys main characters and events Opinions about the book organized into short paragraphs in GEE format General point you are making, then further Explanation of that point, followed by an Example from the text to clarify the point Variety of short, simple sentences and longer, more complex ones Concluding paragraph and recommendations Audience appropriate language 3rd person analysis e.g. the book, they, the boys Eye-catching and clever headline using word play e.g. Gere gets into gear, A fun-filled fantasy, what no plot?
