I recently graduated from Portland State University with a BS Accounting and Financial Management. I am currently pursuing a Master of Accounting and Financial Management at Keller Graduate School of Management and planning to pass my CPA license within a year. The scopes of my experience include Bookkeeper at Mercy Corp North West. I was responsible for processing vendors invoices, reviewing checks requests for proper GL accounts, program codes, and proper authorization in accordance with fiscal and Grant funds policies. My duties also included registering and printing weekly checks. I also performed monthly banks accounts reconciliation, journals postings and deposits. I had worked in the past in the property management industry as an assistant manager and I was mainly performing the AP/AR. I have a strong knowledge of SAGE and MAS 90. I am a very honest and hard working person with a very positive attitude and very easy to get along with. I speak English, French, some Spanish and I enjoy working with diverse people. I believe that my education and Accounting employment background can make a positive contribution to this position.
