Finance graduate application and interview process

1. Online application form Visit the Apply Now section of the careers website to submit an application form for the Finance Analyst Development Programme. 2. Application review Your application is reviewed by one of our graduate recruiters. They will consider your academic background, previous work experience, extracurricular activities and motivation to work for J.P. Morgan in Finance. 3. Online numerical test If your application is successful at review stage you will be invited to complete an online numerical test. The test is 20 minutes in length and you are given five days in which to complete it. Visit our Advice Centre for hints and tips about online numerical tests.

5. Assessment centre * At the assessment centre, candidates complete the following exercises: Fastrack A paper based test looking at data analysis and decision-making capabilities. Case study & presentation Students are asked to read a pack of emails and documents, formulate a solution to a technical business problem, and present their ideas to a Business Manager. Group exercise Working with the same case, candidates discuss various aspects within a group exercise environment. Final interview Self awareness interview with a Finance representative to discuss your performance and evaluate your motivation for Finance at J.P. Morgan. 4. First round interviews Our first round interview stage consists of two competency based interviews with representatives of varying levels from Finance (Vice President to Managing Director). The interviews will last approximately 30 minutes each. You may also be asked to complete a further numerical test.

6. Offer Candidates will be informed whether they have been successful in the process, normally this is within 72 hours of completing the assessment centre.
