    Causes of hiv
    There are 3 maincauses of HIV/AIDS infection:
    + Sexual transmission Through an intimacy sexual

    contact i.e. vaginal, anal or oral sex with an infected sex partner.Besides through direct contact, there is also a chance to get infected by sharing sexual devices.

    + Transmission through blood the most common

    cases is by sharingsyringes and needles or blood transfusion activities.


    + Transmission through pregnancy from mother to

    Prevent HIV
    The following steps will help prevent the spread of HIV:

    Abstinence. Refraining from sexual activity is the surest way of preventing sexually transmitted HIV infection. Know the HIV status of your partner. Women who plan on becoming pregnant, or who are pregnant, should be tested before they have the infant.
