Introduction

Dear Parents and Guardians of Year 5,

Year 5s residential trip will take place from May 8th to May 11th, 2012. We will

be traveling to Pulau Sibu, Johor, West Malaysia for three nights at the Sea Gypsy Village Resort and Dive Base. The Year 5s from last year really enjoyed the trip, and we look forward to sharing this experience with this years group.

This package contains all of the information needed to prepare your child for this

exciting trip and to hopefully answer any of the questions or concerns you might have. Please read through it carefully and feel free to ask any questions that might arise, either via e-mail or through our Parent Information Night, on November 23rd, at 6:00pm in the Hall.

To the extent permitted by law, Chatsworth International School Pte Ltd (the School), its employees or agents acting in the course of their employment, the School, its employees or agents shall not otherwise be liable to the Parent/Guardian and the Child/Ward whether in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty) or otherwise, for any loss or damage (including but not limited to any loss of or damage to the Child/Wards personal belongings) arising directly or indirectly from the Trip.

In any event and to the extent permitted by law, the School, its employees or agents shall not be liable to the Parent/Guardian and Child/Ward in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty) or otherwise for any loss, damage, costs or expenses of any nature whatsoever incurred or suffered by the Child/Ward and/or the Parent/Guardian (a) of an indirect or consequential nature or (b) for any economic loss.
