Research Proposal Aims The principle aim of the research proposal is to define the stakeholder management (CSFs) for

an EPC project based company. The rational of this is based on a study of current literature, which revels researchers have segmented construction as a generic case (Yang et-al-2010), and that there is a definitive shortfall of a comprehensive list of (CSFs) that affect the success of stakeholder management in EPC projects. This research proposal will also have the aim to provide a better understanding of stakeholder management (CSFs) and the methods of attaining results to group and rank them. The study of literature and data collection will distil a generic list of stakeholder management (CSFs) applicable to the context of construction projects; this will assessed against respective sectors of an EPC project. From an email based questionnaire method to the top EPC project based companies, which will target the segments of Engineering, Procurement and Construction; this will identify new or group and rank critical success factors that were not considered or consequently grouped and ranked differently in prior academic studies. Therefore, this proposal aims to identify and quantitatively prioritize (CSFs) associated with stakeholder management in EPC projects, and group the factors into lesser dimensions by using Exploratory and Confirmatory factor analysis.
