Stop the St. Charles County Smoking Ban!


On Monday November 28th, the St. Charles County Council votes on a smoking ban for St. Charles County that bans smoking nearly everywhere.

in: Smoking would be banned in:


All restaurants, bars, bowling alleys, casinos & bingo halls Work vehicles, trucks, machinery and parking garages Private clubs & organizations (VFW, union halls etc) Cigar Stores Current designated smoking areas in work places and enclosed job sites.

If this ban passes, St. Charles County bars and Ameristar Casino will be stuck with a smoking ban, while bars and casinos in all four neighboring Missouri counties will continue to allow smoking indefinitely. State lawmakers warn no Missouri statewide smoking ban will intervene to level the playing field.

Penalties: $1000 fines and liquor license revocation!


To stop this ban: 1. Ask Councilman Nancy Matheny to continue her support of St.

Charles Co. businesses with a NO! vote at the Monday November 28th meeting! Councilman Matheny: nmatheny@sccmo.org 636.949.7530 2. Attend the 7 p.m. November 28th County Council smoking ban vote at the Council Chambers, 100 North Third St. to speak out for the freedom and property rights of St. Charles County businesses.

Dont let this happen to St. Charles County!
