COMMENCEMENT OF CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE STATE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AGENCY
AMENDMENT ACT, 2002 (ACT No. 38 OF 2002)
In terms of section 17 of the State Information Technology Agency Amendment Act, 2002 (Act No . 38 of 2002), read with
section 13 (3) of the Interpretation Act, 1957 (Act No . 33 of 1957), t hereby determine 1 February 2003 as the date on which-
(a) sections 2 (a), 3, 6, 7, 10 and 11 of the State Information Technology Agency Amendment Act, 2002 ; and
(b) section 12 (b) of the State Information Technology Agency Amendment Act, 2002, insofar as it inserts subsection
(3B) in section 19 of the State Information Technology Agency Act, 1998 (Act No . 88 of 1998),

take effect .

INWERKINGTREDING VAN SEKERE BEPALINGS VAN DIE WYSIGINGSWET OP DIt
STAATSINLIGTINGSTEGNOLOGIE-AGENTSKAP, 2002 (WET No. 38 VAN 2002)

Ingevolge artikel 17 van die Wysigingswet op die Staatsinligtingstegnologie-agentskap, 2002 (Wet No . 38 van 2002),
saamgelees met artikel 13 (3) van die Interprestasiewet, 1957 (Wet No . 33 van 1957), bepaal ek hierby 1 Februarie 2003 as
die datum waarop-
(a) artikels 2 (a), 3, 6, 7, 10 en 11 van die Wysigingswet op die Staatsinligtingstegnologie-agentskap, 2002 ; en
(b) artikel 12 (b) van die Wysigingswet op die Staatsinligtingstegnologie-agentskap, 2002, vir sover dit subartikel (3B)
in artikel 19 van die Wet op die Staatsinligtingstegnologie-agentskap, 1998 (Wet No . 88 van 1998), invoeg,

in werking tree .
Gegee onder my Hand en die Seel van die Republiek van Suid-Afrika to Pretoria, op hede die 30ste dag van Januarie,
Tweeduisend en Drie .
