Question 1 Step 1 First,click Graph>>Grid form>>Square grid

Step 2 Next,plot the given points. Click at Graph>>Plot points

Step 3 Plot point (-3,5). Then click plot. At the first box is for x-coordinate and the second box is for y-coordinate.

Step 4 Plot point (6,9). Then click plot.

Step 5 Plot point (4,2). Click plot and then click done.

Step 6 Label each of the point. Click and label the point Q. click ok

Step 7 Follow the instruction in step 6 to label the other point with R. click ok

Step 8 Label the other point P. click ok.

Step 9 Click select tool, . Then highlight point P,Q and R.

Step 10 Click Construct>>Segments

Step 11 To find the area of triangle PQR, First,construct OPST OPST OPQ QRT PRS

STEP 12 Plot point (-3,9). Click plot

Step 13 Plot point (-3,2).click plot

Step 14 Plot point (6,2). Click plot

Step 14 Plot point (6,9). Click plot and then done

Step 15 Label point (-3,9) as O. click OK.

Highlight point OPST and click Construct>>Segments

Step 19 Find the area of interior QOP. Highlight point QOP and click Construct>>Triangle

Step 20 Click at the select tool We will get the area for and click at the QOP QOP. Then click Measure>>Area.

Step 21 Find the area for two triangles. SRP and QTR. Follow step 20 to get the area for the other

Step 22 Next,to find the area for PQR = OPST QOP RSP QTR

To find the area for OPST ,highlight point O,P,S and T. Then click Construct>>Quadrilateral interior Right click at the OPST and choose color>>(any colour)

Step 24 Next calculate area for PQR = OPST QOP RSP QTR

Click Measure>>Calculate. Then click at the area OPST area
