Following are the Engineering problems faced in DCS at

Kanisk site.
S.No Problem Reason Modification
1 DCS module This module doesn’t supply 24 V DC to the field, Hardwire
selection is but all field instrument require 24 V DC for their modification.

2 AI configured 95%of the field instruments are of 2 wire Hardwire
for 4 wire modification
3 DO hardwiring Pair of eight-eight signals are getting 24V DC +ve Hardwire
is wrong from one TB, it impossible to isolate any one signal modification
for its troubleshooting
4 DI hardwiring Pair of eight-eight signals are getting 24V DC -ve Hardwire
is wrong from one TB, it impossible to isolate any one signal modification
for its troubleshooting
5 Unnecessary Motors like Now there
signal a)CWP(Cooling water pump),---Condenser is air allocated
