Creative Brief Ansel Adams Exhibit at the Ella Sharp Museum Purpose: To create a successful marketing campaign for

r the Ansel Adams exhibit, showing at the Ella Sharp Museum in the summer of 2011 Goals: - We will increase community knowledge about the Ansel Adams exhibit through usage of billboards and radio advertisements - We will promote the classy and elegant works of Ansel Adams. - We will pull in old and new museum visitors from a wide demographic and from many areas surrounding Jackson, especially along I-94. Anticipated Results: - Surpass Ella Sharps previous exhibit attendance record. - Achieve $20,000 profit through increase in ticket price for the exhibit. - Increase Ella Sharp memberships by 50. - Increase number of corporate donors and size of corporate gifts by 10%. Targeted Audience: Old visitors to the museum, reminding them of the exceptional exhibits at the Ella New visitors from a wide demographic and a variety of areas surrounding Jackson Potential Primary Message: We will convey the message that This Land is Our Land and the attendee can come and Meet Ansel Only at the Ella. Creative Considerations: The advertisements are in a variety of mediums, including billboards, radio advertisements, postcards, business cards, and table toppers for Ellas Granary Restaurant. The advertisements are consistent and have an all-encompassing theme. The advertisements connect with the visitor and fit with the Ella Sharp Museum's image. Events around the time of the event will connect the public and bring in more visitors. Possible taglines for advertising the exhibit include Only at the Ella and Meet Ansel at the Ella and This Land is Our Land. The inclusion of various Ansel Adams images will excite the

consumer and showcase the splendor and majesty of Ansel Adamss work. Ella Sharp's Mission: The mission of the Ella Sharp Museum of Art & History is to promote the understanding and appreciation of art and history through exceptional exhibitions, interpretation of historical buildings and engaging educational programs. How will we accomplish this? This exhibit will promote the understanding and appreciation of Ansel Adams and American photography, along with increased awareness of other local photographers in the Jackson Area. This is an exceptional exhibit personally selected by the artist, and many educational programs can be formed around the exhibit.
