Generation of electricity from pollution....

We know that air pollution is caused mainly due to burning of fossil fuels. So in this project, we will burn coal to show air pollution. When coal is burnt, harmful gases like carbon monoxide are produced. If we pass these gases from water, they will dissolve and form acids like carbonic acid. Now we will take two metal plates say zinc and copper which will work as anode and cathode. We will connect them with galvanometer. On dipping the plates in the solution, we will notice that the galvanometer shows deflection. This shows that current is generated. THUS THE WASTE FROM HOMES I.E. UREA CAN BE COLLECTED AND URIC ACID IS FORMED ON DISSOLVING IN WATER AND CAN ALSO BE USED IN THE SAME WAY TO GENERATE ELECTRICITY.

So in this way the waste from homes and pollution can be used to generate electricity.
Other projects show generation of electricity from water, sun and wind energy. This is surely a new concept and will be praised by many. I have myself made this during my school years.
