As if you were

I saw you pouring through the window grills As if, you were Light. . As if, you shone upon all forms Revealing all concealed. And by the window pane, there sat a dove. That brushed its feathers neat Now Fluffing up her gentle form, Now shrinking back to size, Now stealing a glimpse, or two at me, pretending, she hadnt been And quiet as she sat there, pretending, she didnt care I saw that you were Life. . I stood there very quiet, my hands joined in a prayer You seemed, someone, so distant, far away somewhere And, then I saw the sunlight pour down through the window grills and trickle down along the walls slowly, spreading on the floor I felt ,that you were here. . I felt you, so very near. . I closed my eyes and thought of her The one, whom ,I had once loved. And perhaps, who knows?..did still I prayed that she have a happy life Free of pain and tears Full of love and care The more ,the more, I thought of her It seemed that, you were Love. . Gentle, sweet and subtle Quiet, yet very strong As if you were a song. That sounded in my ears A softly song of love. .

I felt that, you were there. . I felt you. . You were there. .
