Learning Hierarchy Analysis of the Mann-Whitney U-Test Technique

Given data from two groups in which all values are unique, a table of critical values for U,
and paper and pencil, high school freshman will determine if the Mann-Whitney
Technique is appropriate to use and if so, determine statistical significance from a One-
Tailed Test at the α = .05 level using the Mann-Whitney U-Test.

Calculate statistical significance when given a previously unseen ordinal data set
from a One-Tailed Test at the α = .05 level using the Mann-Whitney U-Test
Technique.
